Thank You, our "Foodie Tribe"!

We offered our first Egg CSA last week with stunning results. SO MANY of you were as excited about our eggs as we are, and though we're thrilled that the CSA sold out in a matter of hours, we're sorry that we can't accommodate everyone... YET! We're in the process of building more coops for the girls (and roos- we can't forget our boys!) who are growing out of the brooders and ready to be introduced to the flock soon. These little ones will be laying within the next 2 months or so, and our available CSA shares should be doubling soon, and tripling by summer! :-) So if you didn't have the chance to try us this month, please don't give up on us yet! We're working hard to expand so that we can serve everyone. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you not just for your patronage, which is always appreciated as it obviously keeps our farm going, but for the comrade and sense of community that I feel so deeply when I share something near an

Hello! Welcome to our first blog post! Let us introduce ourselves: Fox Willow Farm was founded in 2015 by the ever-crazy Saunders family.  We purchased our homestead that year, and began the arduous but amazingly fun task of turning our 10 acres into in a small, fully functioning, organic practice, perma-culture farm. In our first year, we offered a full fruit and vegetable weekly CSA box with a focus on quality and affordability.  Having both grown up in some of the poorest parts of the country (the Appalachian hills of Ohio) we understand better than most how hard fresh fruits and vegetables are to come by when funds are limited. Let's face it: Hotdogs are way cheaper then a pint of strawberries, especially organically raised strawberries. So we strive to bring quality, healthy, and safe produce to all- regardless of whether you can afford $400 at once for a yearly CSA or $15 a week just on the weeks you want, for fresh veggies delivered right to your door, w
